Dear Mother

We returned here on Wednesday and received your letter and your P.C yesterday. I will write to A. Kate, have just sent a line to A. Jane at Bedford. We have been for a long 12 or 14 mile route march today. I am very well and fit and quite a soldier now but buy some meals out as camp grub is too much. Am writing as usual.
