Another p.c! Please tell Mother I will write in a day or as I return C’s letter. Hope my last one reached you. We have very cold weather here frost, snow but it is fine so we don’t mind. Have a good fire on and we make hot drinks (when there is something to make it with)

Thank you very much for your letter and enclosures. I will send them back in course of day or two. It is very wet here and all trenches are in a slippery state. Don’t forget that parcel. Have a rotten cold, hope all are well at home. Please send a small towel as mine is burnt!
