Dear Alec

I have no news whatever so send a cheering p.c. to let you know I am still alive. We are not in the trenches at present and it is not snowing, raining or in the least bit cold, but the sun is shining on the British Front! Hope all is well at home and the weather is better.

Love to all from

Dear Mother

I have just received your letter of 28th, we are in it again but I’ll write later. It is cold and snow is all over these trenches, nuff said! Uncle Charly sent me a letter last week and I replied at once, he is cheerful.

Hope all are well and C. and A. colds better.

Best Love

Tom
Thanks for B.W.
