Dear Cathy
I am still Merry and Bright and so is the
weather. We’ve had four lovely warm days and feel in very good humour
especially as we are not in the trenches. Perhaps our past is near. Hope
you are well. Recvd letter yesterday but no letter for a long time
Love to all
